Presentation of our colleague at the Hungarian Space Academy Club on February 23

Andrea Strádi, researcher of the MTA Centre for Energy Research, having experience in chemical and radiation protection related topics, is going to present the ways of radiation mapping on spacecraft and the consequences of different space radiation conditions for the younger generation interested in space activities. Andrea and her colleagues regularly conduct dosimetry measurements on board the International Space Station and recoverable biological satellites with thermoluminescent and solid state nuclear track-etched detectors.

The other two presenters of the event are Nándor Schuminszky (Space Stars and Space Stories) and Péter Römer (Moon-dioramas). The talks will be followed by informal discussions with the presenters. The event is free.
