The Austrian Space Cooperation Days 2018 event is organized in Wiener Neustadt at the University of Applied Sciences between 7-8 June. Our research group is also represented.
The two-day event provides an excellent occasion for universities, companies and research laboratories from Central Europe for networking and exploring new opportunities.
The Austrian space sector is particularly active in the development of innovative technologies. Their outstanding achievements made it possible to develop satellites and launch pads and to participate in ESA projects. We attended various space-related lectures for example on the CHEOPS and the PROBA-V missions, the latest technologies and global climate forecasts. Companies and research institute from Austria and the surrounding countries introduce themselves in the exhibition area. We could meet with experts, among others, from the fields of material tests, Earth observation systems, propulsion and space weather.
In the exhibition area, participants are encouraged to visit the booth of the Space Research Laboratory that has been opened not long ago at MTA EK.
