3rd Symposium on Space Educational Activities

Held for the third time, the Symposium on Space Educational Activities (SSEA) provides an international platform for students and teachers to present their space educational activities internationally, both at secondary and university levels.

The talk and poster topics included student project presentations and technologies for training the next generation of space engineers and scientists. The conference was held by UKSEDS and the National Space Academy (NSA) in Leicester, UK, sponsored by ESA Education.

This year the conference focused on women's representation in science, which included a series of lectures about women's scientific journeys and a separate panel discussion entitled "Equality and Diversity in the Space Sector".

At the event, Boglárka Erdős, a member of the Space Dosimetry Group, presented the results of the cosmic radiation environment modelling for the ESEO student satellite.
